How to Apply Press-On Nails with Sticky Tabs
Step 1: Prep Your Natural Nails
Proper prep is the secret to making your press-on nail sticky tabs last longer.
- Push Back Your Cuticles: Use the cuticle stick to gently push back your cuticles and remove any dead skin, leaving you with a clean nail bed.
- Buff & Shape: Gently buff the surface of your nails in a circular motion. This helps to create some extra texture for the glue to stick to. You can also file down your natural nails if needed.
- Clean and Dehydrate: Use your Loste Nail Prep Pad to clean and dehydrate your nails. This is your last step before applying your tabs.
- Pro tip: Make sure not to touch your nails after this step, as you will add the oil from your fingers back onto your nails.
Step 2: Apply the Sticky Tabs
- Size It Up: Select the correct sticky tab size for each individual nail. You want it to cover your nail while leaving a small gap around the edge.
- Apply: Peel the tab from the plastic sheet and press it directly onto your natural nail.
